Pineapple Mint Green Iced Tea

Cool, sweet and refreshing.

Ingredients:

6 cups water
4 green tea bags
3 sprigs fresh mint
1/4 cup honey
2 cups fresh pineapple juice
3 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Pour 4 cups of water into a large pot and bring to a simmer. Remove from the heat and place the tea bags and mint sprigs into the hot water. Steep for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bags and mint. Allow the water to cool.
  2. Pour the tea into a large pitcher and add the honey. Stir until the honey dissolves.
  3. Add the remaining 2 cups of water to the pitcher. Then add the lime juice and pineapple juice. Stir until mixed.
  4. Place the pitcher into the refrigerator to chill before serving.
